Upaya Penanaman Pendidikan Karakter Religius Melalui Pembiasaan Salat Dhuha Berjamaah Di SMPN 2 Pasirwangi

Abstract

This study aims to determine: 1) the implementation of the congregational Dhuha prayer habit at SMPN 2 Pasirwangi, and 2) efforts to shape students' religious character through the Dhuha prayer habit. The research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. Data analysis was performed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that: 1) The implementation of the congregational Dhuha prayer habit at SMPN 2 Pasirwangi includes aspects: a) discipline in performing the Dhuha prayer, b) consistency in implementation, and c) voluntary performance. 2) Efforts to build students' religious character through the Dhuha prayer habit are carried out with the principles of: a) gradualism, b) continuity, c) specific momentum, and d) guidance. The impacts obtained are that students become accustomed to performing the Dhuha prayer regularly, increased piety and faith in Allah SWT, and the formation of religious individuals with noble character.
