Abstract

This research aims to describe the important role of parents in assisting children in using technology at home. In today's digital era, children are often exposed to various types of technology, such as smartphones, tablets and computers. However, uncontrolled use of technology can have a negative impact on children's development. Therefore, parental assistance in using technology by children at home at RA Salafiyah is very important. This research method used a descriptive qualitative approach with the research subjects being parents of the RA Salafiyah school with a total of 4 parents.Data collection techniques were carried out using structured observation interviews. The research results show that parental assistance in using technology by children at home at RA Salafiyah has several important aspects. First, parents need to understand the type of technology used by their children and ensure that their use is appropriate to their age and level of development. Second, parents need to regulate their children's technology use time and ensure that they do not depend too much on technology. Third, parents need to provide appropriate supervision and guidance in the use of technology. Lastly, parents need to be a good example in using technology wisely.
