Manajemen Peserta Didik di Sekolah Menengah Pertama

Abstract

Management of students in junior high schools involves a series of activities which include admitting new students, managing curriculum, disciplinary supervision, developing student potential, as well as evaluating and reporting learning outcomes. Effective management in this regard helps create a conducive learning environment and supports the optimal development of students at the secondary level. Therefore a field study was carried out at SMPN 2 Pasirwangi to find out how to manage and implement student management at the school. The method used in this study is a naturalistic method and a qualitative approach with one of the teachers at SMPN 2 Pasirwangi. Based on the results of field research, data on student management at SMPN 2 Pasirwangi was collected. Data includes student scheduling, student discipline monitoring, extracurricular activities, assessment and reporting, as well as student and graduate graduation.
