Abstract

The background of research regarding Islamic boarding school curricula is very important to understand the context and motivation behind the research. Based on information from the sources provided, several background points for Islamic boarding school curriculum research can be understood, such as the history and role of Islamic boarding schools, the importance of Islamic boarding school-based curricula, learning problems in Islamic boarding schools, etc. Research on the Islamic boarding school curriculum has several important objectives, which can help in the understanding and development of education in the Islamic boarding school environment. Through research on the Islamic boarding school curriculum with clear and directed objectives, it is hoped that a deeper understanding of Islamic education in Indonesia will be created and can make a positive contribution to the development of religious education in the Islamic boarding school environment.
