Pengaruh Supervisi Kepala Sekolah Terhadap Kinerja Guru di SMP IT Riyadul Huda

Abstract

The principal's supervision is related to teachers' performance to improve the quality of the school. This approach uses an associative type of quantitative approach. The population in this study consists of all the teachers at SMP IT Riyadul Huda Kampung Neglasari, totaling 12 people. The sampling technique used is census sampling or total sampling. The research method used in this study is the quantitative descriptive method, which includes data collection techniques and statistical tests. Based on data processing with analysis using statistical calculation techniques through the Spearman rank correlation coefficient test, the results show a significant influence between the principal's supervision and teacher performance. The data obtained showed a t-value of 2.1081 > t-table of 1.812, leading to the conclusion that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that in this study, there is an influence of the principal's supervision on teacher performance. The research results also show that the coefficient of determination is 26.06%. The value indicates that the principal's supervision of teacher performance has a correlation level of 26.06%, which falls into the "sufficient" category, while the remaining 73.94% is influenced by other variables not examined by the researcher.
